More Hail Events Are Now Visible on Your Weather Maps

Predictive Sales AI weather maps and hail radar now surface smaller hail events, including reports under half an inch, giving contractors a more complete view of storm activity in their markets.

Not every hailstorm makes headlines. But that does not mean it is irrelevant to a roofing or home improvement contractor.

Predictive Sales AI has expanded the hail data available within our weather maps and radar experience to include lower-threshold hail events, including hail reports measuring under half an inch.

The result is a more complete picture of storm activity, especially in markets where smaller hail events happen frequently but may have previously fallen below the threshold displayed on the map.

Why Smaller Hail Events Matter

Large hail is an obvious signal for roofing contractors. Smaller hail can be useful for a different reason: it provides additional context around where storms are developing, where repeated weather activity is occurring, and which neighborhoods may deserve a closer look.

When those smaller events are added to the same map as larger hail, wind activity, historical storm data and homeowner intelligence, contractors get a clearer view of what has actually happened across their service area.

A More Complete Hail Radar

Previously, a contractor looking at a market might see the major hail swaths while smaller surrounding events remained invisible. With the expanded data, those lower-threshold events now appear directly within the weather experience.

That can reveal broader storm footprints, clusters of activity and areas that have experienced repeated hail over time. Instead of evaluating a market based only on the largest storms, contractors can see more of the weather story.

More storm data does not mean chasing every storm.
It means having better information available when deciding where to market, where to investigate further and where homeowner opportunities may be developing.

Historical Data Gets Better Too

The update is not limited to storms happening today. Lower-threshold hail activity is also being incorporated into the historical weather data available within the platform.

That gives contractors another layer of information when researching neighborhoods, evaluating older storm events or identifying areas that have experienced multiple rounds of severe or near-severe weather.

From Weather Data to Market Opportunity

The value of weather intelligence is not simply knowing that a storm happened. It is being able to connect that event to the homes, neighborhoods and audiences that may matter to your business.

By expanding the hail events available on the map, Predictive Sales AI gives contractors more data to work with when building storm audiences, researching markets and deciding where their next marketing opportunity may be.

Already Live in Predictive Sales AI

There is nothing additional to activate. The expanded hail reporting is already being surfaced within Predictive Sales AI weather maps and will continue to appear as new weather data becomes available.

Contractors can simply open their weather map and begin exploring the additional storm activity now visible across their markets.
